Computed Tomography (CT)
Computed Tomography (CT)
Description of device:3D high resolution images could be acquired through a v/tome/x s micro-CT scanner from GE phoenix using a high-power nanofocus X-ray tube. Pixel/voxel resolution are possible down to 2 μm depending on sample size.

Tonalite sample in front of scintillator screen at ANTARES beam line at FRM II
3D reconstruction of mafic phases of the tonalite sample
In addition we have a cooperation with Dr. Burkhard Schillinger from the ANTARES beamline at FRMII / Garching to perform neutron computed tomography. Pixel/voxel resolution are possible down to 20 μm depending on sample size.
